Time portal

The word “portal” in science fiction and fantasy generally refers to a technological or magical doorway that connects two distant locations separated by spacetime. It usually consists of two or more gateways, with an object entering one gateway leaving via the other instantaneously.

What if Ezekiel and John saw The Doorway or Portal to Heaven? A “Stargate” with a structure of pure energy that connections our 3-D world with the 4th dimension, with the Spiritual Realm of Heaven?

After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”

In Terra Nova The portal is not a time machine, which means people cannot choose where in time they want to go. The portal is a rift in the time stream. The other side of this rift (and where the portal leads) is 85 million years ago in a different time stream.

In Back to the Future The space-time continuum was the medium through which the DeLorean time machineand the Jules Verne Train navigated to reach a particular point in time. Traveling along this medium resulted from breaking the time barrier. The space around the vehicle did not change on temporal displacement, and within each time, the vehicle would have to travel to that location on its own power.

In Stargate A Stargate is an Einstein–Rosen bridge portal device within the Stargate fictional universe that allows practical, rapid travel between two distant locations

In First Contact… In the novel, Sagan describes revolving rings that generate a tremendous amount of energy in order to open up the theoretical worm-holes, or tunnels, that allow passage through the Galaxy.  The passenger(s) traveling in the machine would fall into these worm-holes and go on a fantastic ride through deep space.  These worm-holes are theorized in science known as Rosen-bridges

15Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.16The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their workwas as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel. 17When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went. 18As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four. 19And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.20Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. 21When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
