What is the timeline for THE END? Can we get this information from the Word? I think we can.
At that time Michael will stand up, (he is the great prince which stands for the children of Israel).
This will be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation. At that time (thy people) shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
- And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,
- some to everlasting life, and
- some to shame and everlasting contempt.
- And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament;
- and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Then Daniel looked and there stood three men,
- the man clothed in linen upon the waters of the river,
- the one on this side of the bank of the river, and
- the other on that side of the bank of the river.
And one asked: “How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?”
And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, sware by him that liveth for ever : “it shall be for a time, times, and an half”
and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
And I (Daniel) heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
The time that the daily sacrifice was taken away, was in the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Juda… (“he whom Yahweh has set up” c. 635–598 BC who became king in 608 BC); being the eldest son of king Josiah by Zebidah, the daughter of Pedaiah of Rumah having the birth name of Eliakim
Nebuchadnezzar (Nebuchadnezzar II who was a Chaldean king of the Neo-Babylonian Empire, and reigned c. 605 BC – c. 562 BC), came unto Jerusalem, and besieged it in 606 BC. The Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God. This meant that the daily sacrifice could not be performed correctly. : which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god(Marduk); and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god. According to the Hebrew Bible, Solomon’s Temple, also known as the First Temple, was the Holy Temple (Hebrew: בֵּית־הַמִּקְדָּשׁ: Bet HaMikdash) in ancient Jerusalem before its destruction by Nebuchadnezzar II after the Siege of Jerusalem of 587 BCE.
And from the time that the daily sacrifice was taken away and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there was a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
606BC + 1290 = 684 AD
